Just so we're all clear, this is not a girls' trip. I repeat, this is not a girls' trip. No siree, there are no eggrolls present on this trip. That's our story and we're stickin' to it - for David's sake. He's not thrilled with being designated our fourth girl/eggroll, so for purposes of this trip, just call us samosas. Yeah, that's it. Samosas. No eggrolls here.😉
So we're off to India for what I suspect will be our craziest adventure yet. We fly 12 hours to Beijing, have a 2-hour-45-minute layover and then fly 7 1/2 hours to New Delhi; all in all, a much easier travel day than our trip to Vietnam was. That trip took 29 hours and had layovers in both Hong Kong and Singapore, so this trip seems easy-breezy by comparison. I know, I know. It's all relative. But after Vietnam, any international travel that takes less than 29 hours and involves schlepping through less than five airports seems like a major treat.
We will arrive in New Delhi around noon Saturday California time, 1:40 a.m. Sunday morning India time, and after catching a few z's, we have a full day of touring both Old Delhi and New Delhi. If I have wifi, I will try to post to the blog that evening. Until then, let the adventure begin!
